The Foreign Ministry and the Counter-Terrorism Bureau are stepping up their travel warning to Sri Lanka.
A Foreign Ministry announcement said, "For Israeli travelers in Sri Lanka, it is recommended to stay away from churches and tourist sites, to listen to the local security forces, to stay away from the scene of the [Sunday] incident, and to be attentive to the local media. We recommend that you update your family all the time about your situation."
