Former minister Eli Yishai has told Yisrael Hayom he believes there is a good chance his Yahad Party will run together in the Knesset elections with the Jewish Home and the National Union, saying, "The most important thing now is to act to join forces in the right-wing bloc, so that they will not lose votes because of the electoral threshold." He said the possibility will advance once Jewish Home elects a leader.

The former chairman of the Shas Party said "Shas is crashing" under current chairman Aryeh Deri, saying Deri's opposition has kept the two Sephardic haredi-religious parties from running together like the Degel Hatorah and Agudat Yisrael factions in the Ashkenazi United Torah Judaism Party.
