Doctor Alon Schwartz, senior surgeon at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center trauma unit, reported on Tuesday that Shira Ish-Ran, who was seriously wounded in Sunday night's attack at the Ofra Junction, "is still in intensive care, sedated and on respiration. Her condition is stable and we are pleased with the improvement in her condition."

Dr. Schwartz said her husband Amichai needs no surgery. Regarding the condition of the baby born in an emergency operation after the attack, Dr. Schwartz said "The baby is unfortunately still in a serious condition and there is no change in his condition."
