At least seven people were wounded Sunday night in a shooting attack north of Jerusalem on Route 60.

Terrorists opened fire on a group of Israelis at a bus stop outside of the town of Ofra in the Binyamin district of Samaria, along Route 60.

According to initial reports, the terrorists opened fire from a moving vehicle in a drive-by shooting. The terrorists fled the scene immediately after the attack.

One of the two victims is said to be in serious condition. She has been identified as a pregnant 21-year-old woman.

The pregnant woman, along with a 21-year-old man in moderate condition and two 16-year-olds in light condition were evacuated to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Doctors at the Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem delivered the baby of the woman who was seriously wounded. The baby was taken to the hospital ward for premature babies and is in good condition. The mother is undergoing an operation.

A 22-year-old man in moderate condition and two 16-year-old girls who sustained minor injuries were evacuated to the Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.

“At 21:25 MDA received a report of a shooting at the entrance of Ofra,” MDA reported.

“MDA EMTs and paramedics are treating and evacuating to Hadassah Ein Kerem one injured in critical condition and one injured lightly.”

"We heard shooting and immediately ran to the Intensive Care Unit, we reached the scene and saw a 21-year-old female lying on the pavement, conscious with a gun shot wound, and a 21-year-old male with a number of gun shot wounds to his lower body," said MDA EMT Benzi Glick and MDA Paramedic Betzalel Ben Hamu.

"We provided them with lifesaving medical treatment and evacuated them to hospital while stopping the bleeding, and giving them fluids and medications. The woman's condition was critical and unstable and the man's condition moderate and stable. Together with the IDF Medical team we treated an additional injured male in moderate condition."

According to MDA Paramedic Shalom Galil, the two 16-year-old victims were suffering from wounds to their limbs, and were evacuated in light condition.

"Two 16-year-old girls, fully conscious with wounds to their limbs received initial treatment in the field and were evacuated by ambulances to hospital in light condition."

An IDF spokesperson confirmed that the terrorists had opened fire from a car, adding that Israeli security forces are conducting searches of the surrounding area for the terrorists.

“Following the previous report regarding the shooting attack adjacent to the Ofra Junction, shots were fired from a passing Palestinian vehicle towards Israeli civilians who were standing at the bus station. IDF troops who were present nearby responded by firing towards the suspect vehicle, which fled,” an IDF spokesperson said.

“IDF troops are currently searching the area. The Commanding Officer of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brig. Gen. Eran Niv, is present at the scene.”
