The French Foreign Ministry has condemned the stabbing attack in Gush Etzion on Sunday that took the life of American-Israeli Ari Fuld.

At the daily media briefing, a spokeswoman said, "France condemns the attack in which an Israeli civilian was killed on Sunday, September 16th near Gush Etzion in the West Bank. We send our condolences to his family, and wish to remind [people] that the use of violence is not acceptable and can only exacerbate tensions in the field." On Sunday, Ambassador Hélène Le Gal made similar comments in a personal message.
