A terrorist armed with a Kalashnikov rifle and grenades tried to infiltrate Israeli territory in the Zikim area at 7 am on Monday and carry out an attack against the forces working to build the sea barrier. The Israel Defense Forces' Spokesperson's Office reported that the IDF Spokesperson's Office did not provide details about the attack, other than to say the IDF returned fire at a terrorist who shot at them.
