A two-year-old girl drowned Sunday in a private swimming pool in a home in Moshav Talmim in the Lachish region of southern Israel. She was taken to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon where she was declared dead shortly thereafter.
Another two-year-old toddler drowned in the Nufarim pool, near Petah Tikva, and was evacuated to Schneider Children's Hospital in critical condition.
