Rabbis in the haredi-religious sector called on the haredi public on Tuesday to refrain from buying and using "smart watches" and accused those who sell them of causing many to sin. Writing in haredi dailies, the rabbis said the prohibited devices resembled permitted ones. They said the prohibition is even when they do not contain a sim card or any blockage is applied.
