The Jewish community in Hevron is furious at the Hevron municipality's intention to petition the Supreme Court against the plan to expand construction on the Jewish side by 30 dwelling units, which are supposed to be approved at a meeting of the Supreme Planning Council next week.
The Jewish community told Arutz Sheva that "the mayor of Hebron is a convicted murderer, his hands are stained with the blood of six victims, and he was elected to his position boasting of the abominable murder he committed." The community concluded, "We expect the Israeli government not to allow this murderer to delay construction in Hevron for even one day by means of futile petitions."
