Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said,Thursday, that the officer who was documented assaulting a truck driver who lives in eastern Jerusalem acted in a very serious manner and his behavior was "worthy of all reproach."
Erdan continued, "Such behavior harms the entire police force and it is good that the policeman was suspended, and I hope that DIP [department for investigating police -ed] will deal with him to the full extent of the law."
