Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority announced on Sunday, "We have come to an agreement with Jordan on a series of steps that will be taken if the United States moves its embassy to Jerusalem." The announcement followed a meeting between Abbas and King Abdullah II in Amman.
