A hearing is scheduled at this hour in the Tel Aviv District Labor Court on a request by the Education Ministry and Treasury for a restraining order against a decision by the Histadrut Hamorim teachers' union to start school on Tuesday at 11 am.
The teachers are protesting reductions from paychecks. Even if the request is denied, special education and certain schools will start on time.
