Member of Knesset Aida Touma-Sliman (Joint Arab List) explained, Thursday evening, the faction's decision not to attend Friday's funeral of Shim'on Peres by saying, "We express a position that represents complexity, which is not black and white."
Touma-Sliman continued, "We remember all the wrongs but also remember Peres himself signed the Oslo Accords. We remember that Peres was the one who conducted the negotiations with leaders of the Arab population."
