Following today's (Wednesday) terror attack in Hevron, the Almagor organization for terror victims is demanding that the government change its instructions on checking Palestinians.
"The terrorist who wounded two Israelis today enjoyed a moment of grace in which he was asked to present his identity card instead of going through a body check. At that time he pulled out a knife instead of an identity card. This is a continue failure that has led to several stabbings in the past," said Meir Indor, the director of Almagor.
He added that "Security officials, including those in the police, promised to change the rules, but it seems that updated instructions have not reached those on the ground - which leads to terrorists exploiting the confusion and continuing to stab."
