Former MK Geula Cohen on Thursday called on supporters of the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria to take part in a mezuzah-affixing ceremony which will take place on Friday morning at the Shdema military base, located between the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Homa and the eastern Gush Etzion Jewish community of Tekoa.

"My health isn’t great, but I decided to go in any case to the mezuzah-affixing ceremony in Shdema tomorrow,” said Cohen, adding, “We are in a difficult and fateful time period, the prime minister is under heavy pressure and we need to prove our loyalty to Israel. It's not fair to only make demands of Netanyahu. We have to prove our loyalty through action, so I will be at Shdema tomorrow.”
