Police: Reasonable Force in Hizme Crossing Arrest

A spokesman for the Border Police rejected, Thursday afternoon, claims of violence by the officers who arrested a resident of Ma'aleh Levona for not cooperating with inspectors at the Hizme Crossing near the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze'ev, Thursday morning.

Responding to an inquiry by Arutz Sheva, the spokesman said, "According to a preliminary check, the subject who arrived at the Hizme Crossing refused an inspection of his vehicle and didn't allow officers at the scene to see its contents. The above was arrested through the use of reasonable strength and was taken for continuation of processing at the Jerusalem belt investigation office."
