Sunday afternoon's fire next to the Ofrit army base on Mount Scopus, in Jerusalem, was started by firecrackers thrown by Arab youths, according to police, who add that the blaze was extinguished and the area is being searched. Ten soldiers who went to fight the fire suffered from light smoke inhalation while two suffered from moderate smoke inhalation and were taken to the Mount Scopus branch of Hadassah Hospital.
