Ten People Injured in Jerusalem Blaze, One Seriously

At least ten people were injured Sunday afternoon in a fire on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem. The fire was burning in an open field near an IDF base. One of those hurt was seriously injured, and all the injured were taken to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus for treatment. Firefighters were working to bring the blaze under control.

A second fire in Jerusalem was burning in the Shalom Forest, next to the walking area at Armon Hanatziv that overlooks the Old City. Three firefighting crews were working to put out that blaze. No injuries were reported in that fire.
