Urgent Knesset Meeting on Zim Bond Repayment Delay

The Knesset will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday regarding the Zim shipping company's announcement that repayment of the company's bonds may be delayed until 2020, according to Army Radio. The meeting was officially requested by Carmel Shama (Likud) and Shelly Yechimovich (Labor).

Under the developing deal, interest to investors will be increased and they will be offered the opportunity of buying shares in the Israel Corporation, Zim's parent company, at a discount.
