(IsraelNN.com) Arab residents of the Mei Shiloach (Silwan) neighborhood of Jerusalem reported that Palestinian Authority forces were active in their neighborhood on Saturday, according to Ynet. The PA forces were dressed in civilian clothing, and were engaged in attempting to calm rival clans.

Mei Shiloach is located outside the walls of the Old City, and is well within the Jerusalem municipal boundary, inside which PA forces are not allowed to operate. A similar violation of terms was reported last month by MK Aryeh Eldad, who said PA police attacked him and other Israelis in the Atarot neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Israeli police were involved in ending violence between the clans as well, and managed to separate the warring sides. Two people were killed and several others wounded in the clan battle, which began over a property dispute.
