(IsraelNN.com) Israel National News's Yishai Fleisher, a resident of Pisgat Yaakov in Beit El, said in reaction to the court order halting construction on part of the neighborhood: "We, the Jewish people have returned to our land, Beit El being Jacob's special place and the site of his famous dream of the ladder. We came to a barren land that barely remembered its glorious past. Now we are making it flourish again because we are wedded to this land and it takes no substitutes for us. Those people who would evict us from our land come with bogus claims and are impostors."

"We pray that the courts will have the wisdom of our ancient judges to make decrees of justice," Fleisher concluded.
