Israeli security forces on Monday arrested on Route 6 a suspect who is believed to have been planning to carry out a terror attack.
A helicopter is hovering over the area, and drivers who were in the area were instructed to distance themselves as much as possible.
Israel Police stated, "The suspicious vehicle was stopped by the police. All of its passengers were taken for questioning, and the vehicle is being examined by a police sapper.
According to reports, 13 suspects were arrested and taken for questioning.
The main suspect is a Palestinian Authority Arab who was refused entry into pre-1967 Israel. The ISA is involved in the investigation.
Northbound traffic on Route 6, a key north-south highway, has now been closed from Horshim Interchange.
