Israeli singer Idan Raichel posted an Instagram story Monday, in which he criticized the International Red Cross for not doing enough for the Israeli hostages still held by Hamas.

"Right, left, and center, can we all agree publicly that the International Red Cross is now persona non grata in Israel, until the last hostage is returned?" Raichel asked.

"So it does not seem that the Red Cross is doing anything for Israel, or for the hostages in Gaza. They are victims of war crimes, and the Red Cross is even so impertinent as to criticize us for the conditions in which we are holding terrorist prisoners. The Red Cross is red with embarrassment," he concluded.

Red Cross president Mirjana Spoljaric Egger visited Gaza on Monday and asked Hamas to release the prisoners or at least allow the Red Cross to visit them. Before that, she called to deal with the humanitarian situation of the residents of Gaza. This is the first time a senior Red Cross official has visited the Gaza Strip. The visit took place approximately two months after the October 7 attack, which saw Hamas terrorists murder 1,200 Israelis and take approximately 240 hostage.

This is not the first time that Raichel has spoken his mind about the war. Approximately one month ago he praised former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett for his public relations work with foreign media.
