
Ofra Keidar, 70, from Kibbutz Be’eri, was murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7 and her body is being held in Gaza, the kibbutz announced on Friday night.
“We will demand her return with the other hostages. The kibbutz community embraces Ofra's family: Her children Elad, Oren and Yael, her grandchildren and all her family members, and shares in their unbearable grief," it said.
Keidar was shot and kidnapped while taking a morning hike outside the kibbutz on October 7. She managed to call her son Elad and tell him that there was gunfire around her.
Ofra's husband, Sami, was murdered in his home.
Earlier on Friday, Kibbutz Nir Oz announced that Maya Goren, age 56, was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
Previously it was announced that Aryeh (Zalman) Zalmanovich, 85, was murdered by Hamas terrorists and his body is being held by Hamas.
IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced on Friday evening that the family of Eliyahu Margalit, from Kibbutz Nir Oz, was informed that he was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
In addition, the family of Guy Iluz, 26, was informed that he was kidnapped by Hamas from the Supernova Music Festival on October 7 and died from wounds he sustained during the kidnapping. His body is held by Hamas.
