In a video circulating, a ZAKA volunteer offers a harrowing testimony, painting a somber picture of loss and love in the face of unthinkable violence.

The volunteer describes entering a home after the massacre of October 7th, where an untouched birthday cake stood on the table. The stillness was disrupted by a chilling odor coming from an adjacent room, where he made a gut-wrenching discovery: Five family members, hugging each other, their bodies burnt beyond recognition.

The volunteers had to put each family member in body bags, to give them an honorable burial. On the way out, they noticed pictures on the fridge, of the family in happier times. The entire family that was wiped out.
