A Hamas terrorist who took part in the October 7 massacre of over 1,400 Israelis was apprehended two weeks after the massacre while attempting to make his way back into the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced today (Sunday).

The terrorist was exhausted from being on the run in southern Israel for two weeks and was taken for questioning by the Shin Bet.

Security forces continue to search for terrorists who may remain in southern Israel following the massacre on the morning of Simchat Torah, when nearly 3,000 terrorists from Gaza invaded Israel and committed the worst terrorist attack in Israeli history and the deadliest act of mass murder against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

In addition to the massive number of civilian fatalities in the Hamas massacre, over 200 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to Hamas as hostages, where Hamas and other terrorist organizations refuse to allow the Red Cross to visit them.
