Left-wing activist Hagai Frankel pledged today (Sunday) to Rishon Lezion Magistrate Court Judge, Vered Bloch-Shechtman, that he would no longer violate the law, would not demonstrate near Danon's house, and would stop harassing his family.

Frankel's commitment came after a restraining order issued against him last week following a March 26 protest outside of Danon's home in Ra'anan during which anti-reform activists blocked Danon's house with a barbed wire fence.

Last week, a request was submitted for a restraining order against Frankel backed up by videos and photos in which Frankel allegedly "repeatedly arrived at the door of Danon's house very early or very late in the day in violation of the law and while ignoring police instructions."

"Among the actions Frankel carried out in recent weeks were blocking the gate of Danon's house with a wire fence, yelling at his minor daughters, turning on the amplification system, and using a megaphone at the entrance to Danon's house in the early hours of the morning," the request states.

"I support freedom of protest, but the law in Israel is clear and determines what is allowed and what is not. The Israel Police determined where it is allowed and where it is not allowed to demonstrate. Mr. Frankel elected to act criminally and try to threaten the members of my household on a regular basis," said Danon at the conclusion of the hearing.
