Two Palestinian Arabs were arrested in the southern part of the city of Jerusalem by police forces on suspicion of possessing and selling dozens of boxes of fireworks that were found in their possession.
In a search of the suspects' vehicle, police found boxes containing 60 fireworks cakes.
The suspects, Palestinian Authority residents in their 20s and 30s, were detained for questioning.
Two other suspects were arrested for fireworks possession in Jerusalem earlier this week. The fireworks were seized and are set to be destroyed.
