A fire broke out this evening (Tuesday) in the Bnei Akiva branch of the city of Bnei Brak.
Firefighters working at the scene have brought the fire under control. The building has suffered significant damage as a result of the fire.
In recent months, a number of houses have been set on fire in Bnei Brak and a shot was fired at the house of a senior municipal official.
Bnei Akiva official Udi Tenne said that the fire appeared to be an act of arson: "The fire damaged the preparations for the Independence Day celebrations in the city. We call on the police to immediately investigate the incident."
