IDF and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activity in the Dheisha camp, apprehending six wanted individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.

During the activity, a violent riot was instigated in which rocks, explosive devices and Molotov cocktails were hurled at the forces, who responded by firing into the air and using riot dispersal means. An IDF officer was lightly injured by the rock-throwing and was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. His family has been notified.

The forces also apprehended two additional suspects in the towns of Doha and Abu Dis.

In addition, the security forces apprehended six wanted suspects in the towns of Jalbun, Kafr Dan, Nur Shams, Salem and Deir al-Hatab. They also apprehended two wanted suspects in the towns of Beit Surik and Beit Ur al-Tahta.

During the activity in the town of 'Arura, riots were instigated and shots were heard in the area.

Additionally, IDF soldiers apprehended a wanted suspect in the town of Rantis.

The wanted suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning.
