World Likud chairman MK Danny Danon thinks that Israel must be very clear and decisive in its positions in talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
"We need to tell the Secretary of State clearly that there is a new government in Jerusalem and the commitment to settlement is not in doubt. We intend to build in Judea and Samaria and I hope there will also be a very clear statement on the evacuation of Khan al-Ahmar," Danon told Israel National News in an interview from the Knesset.
"We must not blink in the face of terrorism. A demonstration of sovereignty is further construction in Judea and Samaria and the evacuation of Khan al-Ahmar, on which the State of Israel must give an answer to the Supreme Court tomorrow," he added.
Danon thinks that while there is a claim that the Americans are preoccupied with the judicial reform in Israel, they are not truly concerned by this issue.
"We are dealing with the question of how Americans are dealing with the reform more than they are actually dealing with it. The US has other issues on the agenda. There is no need to put ideas into the heads of our friends. Wherever there is democracy there are legislative changes. We need to focus on what is good for us and not fear the international reaction."
