The director-general and external relations director of the Hashomer organization in Judea and Samaria met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture MK Moshe Abutbul in his office in the Ministry of Agriculture in Beit Dagan.

In the meeting, the challenges facing Hashomer - a nonprofit dedicated to protecting Israel's agricultural land and workers, were discussed. The parties talked about supporting farmers, dealing with agricultural terrorism, and maintaining the many volunteers who help farmers through Hashomer.

MK Abutbul commented: "I was glad to meet the heads of Hashomer in Samaria. I was exposed to their much-welcome activity, and we will also conduct a thorough analysis to identify the needs to protect farmers and civilians from the damage of agricultural crime."

Hashomer director Avichai Suissa commented: "We were happy to meet Deputy Minister Abutbul and fully inform him of the needs of farmers in Judea and Samaria. We expect to host the Deputy Minister soon to promote the agriculture and aid to farmers and to deal with the challenges they face."
