Two presenters waved a PLO flag on a program on Makan, Israel's public broadcasting network in Arabic.
The two presenters discussed the order to the police by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to enforce the ban on flying the PLO flag while sarcastically waving a PLO flag.
"National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ordered police to begin enforcing the ban of waving the Palestinian flag," the presenters said. At this point, they took out a PLO flag and said, "Yes, this flag. You can't wave it this way or like this, and you can't wave it like this, and you can't even tie it like this."
Matan Peleg, the CEO of the Im Turtzu Movement, stated: "We call on Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi and the Public Broadcasting commission to end the Makan's incitement. The presenters (who are slowly leaving, thank G-d) incite, and now they wave the terror flag in the middle of a public broadcast! If all that comes out of the channel is incitement, then there's no justification for its existence."
