During the first night of the civil New Year, 10 women in labor were conveyed to hospital by MDA ambulances and MICUs. The first baby of 2023 was delivered by an MDA ambulance team in Kfar Saba at 01:50.
MDA Director General Eli Bin said: “As per every year, MDA staff and volunteers were spread out across the country and provided life-saving treatment to those celebrating New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, once again this year the teams were called to treat victims of traffic accidents, violence, and those suffering from alcohol intoxication. I wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe civil New Year.”
