The head of the Binyamin Regional Council, Yisrael Gantz, on Sunday asked on his Facebook page that the public pray for the healing of Shir Lev, who was injured in a rock attack this past Friday as she made her way towards Shabbat in Psagot.
Shir is hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
Gantz called on the people of Israel to "pray and do good deeds for the healing of Shir Bat Rachel. She was hit by a rock that was aimed at the face of us all."
"On Friday, about an hour before Shabbat, Shir, her husband and their four children were driving towards her parents' home in Psagot. On Highway 60, near Shiloh, Arab rioters threw a large rock at the car," he continued.
"Shir was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital and the children and the father were evacuated in complete shock to the grandparents' house in Psagot, where they spent a tense Shabbat," Gantz added.
