A man from central Israel was arrested last week after he reportedly spied on children at a public restroom.
The suspect, a 35-year-old man from Petah Tikva, apparently watched children in the bathroom through a crack in a stall door, Channel 10 reported. The man also filmed some of the children.
Authorities are expected to file an indictment against the suspect later this week, with a number of charges to be listed, including performing vile acts, invasion of privacy, and possession of child pornography.
According to the preliminary indictment filed on Monday, the suspect’s victims included children under the age of 14.
