Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah met the parents of Eyal Yifrah (19), Naftali Frenkel (16), and Gilad Sha'ar (16) on Friday at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem.
"The nation is giving you strength, and you give them strength in return," Netanyahu stated to the families, whose sons were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists last Thursday.
Netanyahu commented on the large scale Operation Brother's Keeper, which so far has arrested over 330 terrorists and checked over 1,100 sites in its relentless search for the kidnapped youths. In parallel, the mission seeks to crush the Hamas terror infrastructure in Judea and Samaria.
"[Finding the boys] is the primary target of the military and intelligence operation we have launched," added the prime minister. "We have increased our strength in the field and we are investing enormous power into reaching the boys."
Netanyahu's wife Sara addressed the parents as well, saying "I am asking to strengthen your hands and hug you and kiss you, together with all of Israel. The entire Jewish people is waiting for the boys to come home."
The meeting comes after outgoing President Shimon Peres met with the parents on Thursday at the Presidential Residence, promising to raise the topic of their sons' abduction with US President Barack Obama, who has yet to make a comment on the incident.
