Yesterday (Thursday) saw the biggest event of its kind in aid of new olim (immigrants to Israel), both new and old.
"The Event 2013" was co-sponsored by a variety of Zionist groups, and Arutz Sheva spoke to the man behind it all.
Gidon Katz expressed his joy at seeing "more people than we expected," and explained how the event sought to level the playing field between new olim and their Israeli counterparts in the workforce.
