Five French Islamist terror suspects have been released, with seven others due to be arraigned Thursday, according to a judicial source.

The suspects will face an anti-terrorism judge on unspecified charges in connection with the bombing of a kosher supermarket in Sarcelles and plotting other anti-Semitic attacks.

The two masked men hurled grenades into the Naouri Sarcelles store last month may still be at large, according to French officials.

In response to the attack, however, police began an investigation that uncovered “an extremely dangerous terrorist cell,” according to French prosecutors. French President Francois Hollande pledged Sunday to increase security around synagogues and introduce tougher anti-terrorism measures one day after police raids discovered a radical Islamist terror network targeting Jews.

During a massive, nationwide sting operation on Saturday, police uncovered bomb-making materials, and at the home of one of the 12 arrested suspects, a "target list" of Jewish organizations located in the greater Paris area.

One of the leaders of the terror cell, Jeremy Louis-Sidney, 33, was killed in a shootout with police when he opened fire as they tried to take him into custody during a dawn raid at his home in Strasbourg.
