A senior Palestinian Authority official claimed that Israel will transfer between three and four million coronavirus vaccines to the PA, Israel Hayom reported.

Senior sources in Ramallah's Health Ministry told Israel Hayom that in any negotiations Israel carries out with companies to procure vaccines, a certain percentage of vaccines will be directed to the Palestinian Authority and the Gaza Strip.

Israel currently has agreements to procure six million vaccine does from the Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca companies, with more deals with other companies reportedly in the works.

The PA will also receive vaccines from the United Nations and international aid organizations. Despite this, the PA says that it will be short several million vaccines needed to inoculate the entire population, especially in Gaza.
