Police arrived overnight at the homes of the suspects in the attack on an Arab in Hebron.

The police initially stated that the identity of the perpetrators of Friday's attack were known to security forces. The police came to the homes of the suspects and issued summons for the suspects to come for questioning.

According to a Channel 12 report, a Palestinian Authority Arab man was walking past an IDF outpost at approximately 12:00 AM. on Friday night when a number of hasidic Jews who had come across the man in the past launched a verbal assault against him.

The incident quickly deteriorated, with the attackers soon throwing punches at the Arab. An IDF soldier stationed nearby took notice of the brawl and interceded on behalf of the victim. While attempting to break up the fight, the soldier was attacked himself, but managed to get the melee under control and summon reinforcements to the area

This morning, attorney Itamar Ben Gvir, who represents one of the families whose homes the police visited last night, stated: "As soon as my client, who is not studying in Hebron, he [decided] that he will present himself [to the authorities]. But it is already evident that the Arab who was videotaped is not as innocent as they have attempted to present him. He had hit several of the youths earlier and they responded to that."
