The number of deaths from coronavirus in Israel rose to 300 after another person died of the virus, according to the updated Ministry of Health data.

The actual number of patients this morning, Thursday, is 2,947. Twenty-two confirmed patients were added since midnight last night.

Yesterday, Ben Gurion Airport announced to all foreign airlines flying to Israel that the ban on foreign entry into the country has been extended until July 1, including passengers on connection flights.

Passengers with special permits will be allowed in and the responsibility for the return of the passenger to their countries of origin will fall on the airlines.

The announcement means that the decision to open skies and bring the foreign tourism industry back into operation is not expected before the beginning of next month.
