Snow falls on Mount Hermon

Just prior to Passover, Israel's highest mountain receives more snow.

A light snow fell on Mount Hermon Friday morning, leaving several centimeters on the ground.

Friday will see local rainfall in Israel's north and center, with a chance of flooding in the Judean Desert. The rain will lessen gradually over the course of the day. Temperatures will be lower than seasonal average.

Saturday will be partly cloudy or clear, with temperatures rising to seasonal average.

Sunday will be cloudy and temperatures will rise significantly, becoming warmer than seasonal average, especially in Israel's inland and mountainous regions. Strong northern winds will blow along the cost during the afternoon.

Monday will see temperatures drop slightly along the coast and in the lowlands. However, it will still be warmer than seasonal average in Israel's inland and mountainous regions. Strong northern winds will blow along the coastline over the course of the afternoon.
