IDF and police forces on Wednesday night carried out a widescale operation in Kafr Qusra in Samaria, arresting 20 Arabs suspected of attacking hikers near the village last Thursday.

The Arabs arrested are also suspected of disruptions both inside and outside their village, including hurling stones at Jewish civilians and IDF soldiers.

Other Arabs were arrested on suspicion of inciting to terror. All those arrested were transferred to Israel Police for questioning.

The IDF also found the personal gear taken from the hikers during the attack.

"The security forces will continue acting to ensure the safety of civilians in the area," an IDF spokesman said.

Last Thursday, an Arab mob attempted to lynch a group of 25 schoolchildren hiking near Qusra and Migdalim in Samaria. The accompanying parents, who were acting lawfully as armed escorts, shot at the Arab terrorists, killing one of them.

On Monday, Arabs from Qusra stoned Jewish activists hiking near the village. Later that day, they attacked the hikers again, hurling boulders at both the hikers and the soldiers arriving at the scene.
