Border Police officers stationed at the northern entrance to Jerusalem nabbed three Palestinian Authority residents as they attempted to sneak into the capital Sunday.

The officers found the three PA Arabs crammed in the trunk of a private car which was attempting to pass through the Hizme crossing point in between the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Zeev and Samaria.

As the car approached the checkpoint, Border Police officers ordered the driver to stop for inspection. When officers opened the trunk, they discovered three young Arab men in their teens and early 20s crammed in the back.

The three were later found to be PA residents, all of whom lacked any work or entry permit necessary to cross into Jerusalem from Samaria.
