MK Oren Hazan (Likud) announced the birth of his daughter early Monday morning on social media.

The baby girl is the first child of Oren and Rinat Hazan, who were married this February.

Oren, 35, the son of former Likud MK Yehiel Hazan, has drawn attention since entering the Knesset in 2015 for his violations of government protocol and accusations of illegal conduct while running a Bulgarian casino prior to his election to the Knesset.

During President Donald Trump’s trip to Israel this May, Hazan cut through the reception line of ministers greeting the president to snap a few unauthorized selfies with Trump – much to the chagrin of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

In 2015, Hazan was put on probation by the Knesset after he insulted a handicapped Yesh Atid supporter. A year later, the Knesset passed a law targeting Oren Hazan following a second dust up between Hazan and a fellow MK.
