A stone was thrown on Sunday morning when Jews visited the Temple Mount, lightly injuring one of the Jews.

Israel Police said that despite the incident, Jewish visits to the Temple Mount are taking place as scheduled.

As part of their efforts to find the rock-throwers, the Jerusalem Division Police are no longer allowing Muslim worshipers to ascend the Temple Mount.

This month is the month of Ramadan, when Muslims fast and pray during the day, and feast at night. Ramadan is also a month during which terror attacks, whether attempted or actual, take place with an increased and alarming frequency.

Israeli security forces prepared for such incidents in Jerusalem and Jerusalem's Old City, and reinforced the troops stationed around the Muslim entrances to the Temple Mount.

As a result, last Friday's prayers ended without incident..
