Israel supporters participated last week in a series of conferences organized by the Lev HaOlam Organization against BDS and the boycott movement in Switzerland.
One of the conferences was in Basel-Landschaft, where the First Zionist Congress took place in 1897, when Theodor Herzl and others first dreamt of establishing a Jewish homeland in the Land of Israel.
Other conferences took place in Switzerland's capital of Bern, as well as in the city of Lausanne.
Participating in the events were Swiss Israel supporters, who expressed their support for Israel and the pioneers in Judea and Samaria.
The event in Basel was secured by local undercover police officers due to fears that Islamic and BDS activists could be planning to disturb the event.
Lev Haolam Founder Nati Rom said, "We provide the opportunity for Israel supporters to take an active role in the fight against the boycott and BDS movements."
He also showed pictures and videos of life in Judea and Samaria, and described the real-life challenges faced by Jewish manufacturers and residents in Judea and Samaria. Many of these challenges are caused by the BDS-initiated boycott of Israeli goods.
Rom also explained how enormous sums of "humanitarian aid" ends up aiding terrorists. Much of this money comes from European countries, and Rom called on participants to work to stop Switzerland's indirect funding of terror groups working to bring about Israel's demise.
Lining the conference halls were booths with products from Judea and Samaria. Many participants purchased individual products and several even signed up for Lev Haolam's service, which sends recipients monthly packages containing products form Judea and Samaria.
"We are happy to bring the true story of the pioneers in Judea and Samaria here to Switzerland," Rom said. "Today, Israel supporters have the opportunity not only to support Israel in their hearts and on social media, but also to take an active role against the boycott by purchasing products directly from the producers in Judea and Samaria."
"We invite all people who care about Israel and Judea and Samaria to join us in this struggle against anti-Semitism and Israel haters by helping in the distribution of these excellent products from the heartland of Israel, Judea and Samaria."
