Once: There was a society with a living standard far ahead of the rest of Europe, even Switzerland - it was Sweden. In 1945 thousands of Jewish concentration camp survivors found a friendly haven among their population and in return integrated and conformed to Swedish norms, while at the same time maintaining a Jewish life style.
