Border Police arrested three Arab residents of Yafia on Tuesday on suspicion of stabbing seven cows to death in the Jezreel Valley.

The suspects killed the cows on Israeli Memorial Day last week, in retaliation for the cows straying onto land which does not belong to their breeder.

The suspects allegedly used a scythe of approximately six feet in length to kill the cows.

The suspects, who are in their 60s, 40s, and 20s, were transferred for further investigation. The Tiberius Magistrate Court extended their remand until this coming Sunday.
